Hello there!
Despite Auckland's recent month of various lockdown levels, we've managed to have a couple of gigs, which has been delightful. The first one, A Night of Beautiful Music with Jenny B was a success, and it was a great pleasure for us to perform alongside Jenny, whose voice is simply stunning. If you missed that one, we're hoping to have future concerts with Jenny sometime this year, but for the immediate future, the Beautiful Music Series is welcoming the pianist Flavio Villani to its stage - it should be great! More recently, we were invited to play for a special 'long table' dinner at Le Chef restaurant in the heart of the city. We were a sort of "surprise item" that popped up when guests hit a "push for happiness" button. After a couple of quartet pieces, we charmed the audience by playing Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro" with the wonderful soprano Moonyoung Jang out of a window above 'la table longue'. Definitely a first for us, but it was a hit!
